I need to place a stop payment on a check. How can I do that?

You can stop payment on a check by calling us at 877-661-3300 or by visiting us at one of our branch locations.  You will need the check number, the date the check was written, the amount of the check, and the name of the payee.  There is a $30.00 fee for stop payment on a check. The stop payment may be placed as long as the check has not cleared the account.
